Annual Appreciation Event – Sunday, 7th April 2024

The Club held their 2024 Appreciation Event on Sunday 7th April. This was the first time we’ve held the event in the daytime to respond to feedback from our Sponsors and Members.

Held every year, this special occasion is an opportunity to express our gratitude to all those who contribute to the vibrancy and strength of our Club. 

Whether you’re a Sponsor, volunteer, long-serving member, Life Member, Committee Member, employee, or guest, your presence and commitment have made a profound impact.

The event featured heartfelt testimonials and recognition of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service including Stacey Beisley, Steve Imgrund, Rod Bonser, and Brent Fletcher (an apology). 40-year medals were presented to two of six eligible individuals in attendance – Ivan Bacich and Peter Anderton.

In attendance were Club Patron, His Worship the Mayor Logan K. Howlett JP, City of Cockburn who kindly presented medals to award recipients, and City of Cockburn CEO Daniel Simms.

Thank you to Randall’s Roasts for the delicious and plentiful Pig on a Spit, salads, and rolls.
