Our 1st Rear Commodore, Don runs a Busy Bee on the second Saturday of every month to assist with the general maintenance of our wonderful Club facilities and grounds. Volunteers all gather at 8.30am in Louise’s Bar and complete a few hours of work. Each month the tasks the group completes varies. It is an enjoyable morning for all and concludes with a light morning tea. 

Click the button below to view a video from the June 2023 Busy Bee. The June volunteers replanted and mulched a number of flower beds and helped set up for an event in the Garden Island room amongst other things. 

The next Busy Bee will be on Saturday, 9th September as August has been cancelled. If you have a couple of hours free, why not come down and volunteer!? Many hands makes light work and it really does help the club. PLUS is a fantastic way to meet other Members and is a great opportunity for probationary Members to have their VIP card signed off.
